How Can itchiness In The Chest Along With Upper Back Pain Be Treated?

I have had an unidentifiable rash to my chest that itches and spreads, a history of osteoarthritis with swelling of both knees off and on. Also upper back pain that is relieved by someone stepping on it between my shoulder blades until it cracks..feels like water bubbles are released and pressure goes away. I have a history of hypertension x 1 year and hysterectomy 7 years ago. staples broke and wound opened. closed naturally after 2 mos. I am overweight. I have been tested for lupus , arthritis, thyroid disease. md took a scraping of rash..no diagnosis yet

Hello,

The itchy rash on your chest could be possible eczema which is common in arthritis patients especially if they are taking steroids.
If you have pain also then herpes rash should consider.

A photo of the affected area is required to see the changes.
The noise you feel when taking a breath could be related to costochondritis however X-ray of the chest would be of great help.
Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
